With the help of the REMOTE1 and the MIDI1 adapter interface, you can switch two AMP1 units at the same time. The first AMP1 is connected to the footswitch connection of the REMOTE1 with a guitar cable, and the second AMP1 is connected to the MIDI OUT of the REMOTE1 using the MIDI1 adapter and a MIDI cable. Each switching function of the REMOTE1 now affects both AMP1s.

In this way you can, for example, create a stereo setup. Since the output stage of AMP1 changes its sound with the channels, the second AMP1 should be programmed via MIDI LEARN in such a way that the same channels are always active on both AMP1s.

Extra Info

Please always switch on the slave amp (i.e. the AMP1 that is connected to the REMOTE1 via MIDI) first. There is a simple reason for this: the REMOTE1 is supplied with power via the master AMP1 (i.e. the AMP1 that is connected to the REMOTE1 via the guitar cable). As soon as the connection between these two devices is established and the master AMP1 is switched on, the REMOTE1 is also switched on.

Immediately after switching on, this sends a recognition command. Based on this, every connected AMP1 recognizes it as REMOTE1 and interprets the subsequent incoming commands of the REMOTE1 accordingly. If the slave amp is not switched on when the REMOTE1 receives power, it will not receive this recognition command and as a result cannot understand the commands from the REMOTE1.
