What is the difference between the BALANCED MIC OUT and the LINE OUT on the BluBOX?
The speaker simulation in the BluBOX is applied both to the BALANCED MIC OUT and the LINE OUT, and both outputs can be used simultaneously.
The balanced XLR output delivers microphone level and isolates the ground using an output transformer, like a DI box, to prevent ground loops - a super helpful feature both live and in the studio! The signal present here can be fed to the mixing console instead of a micced guitar cab.
The LINE OUT, designed as a jack socket, offers a second output with line level, which can be used alternatively or simultaneously to the XLR output to pass the signal on to an active monitor, headphones, or to a mixer or interface.
