Since the BluBOX does not represent a load resistance, the real question is whether the combo can be operated without a speaker cabinet being connected to the EXTERNAL SPEAKER OUT. As a rule, this is the case as long as the internal speaker(s) is/are connected, because this speaker output is by definition not inevitable and permanent, but only optional. But please ask the manufacturer of your combo to be on the safe side.
