For a Tony Iommi sound, we recommend the Classic channel of the AMP1 Mercury Edition. For the AMP1 Iridium, however, we recommend the Vintage channel. You'll achieve the best results with an LP/SG-style guitar, but it's also possible to achieve at least a similar sound with other guitars. Depending on the guitar and pickup type, you may have to make some compromises:
